i would agree with you... except that the first is not AUTHORITATIVE... if you find in on the Australian Geoscience website then I might agree...

Exactly, in fact: it ISN'T on the Australian Geoscience Website -- no reference at all to Australia being some dumbass island. I AM SO SURE! Australia can't be a Continent and a Piece of Shit Island!!! But THANKS!!!
I call bullshit. How can it not also be an island when the definition of an isladn is a land mass surrounded by water on all sides. Check a map, punk. Water on all sides.
BTW, How does any of that negate the fact that Australia is both an island and a continent. That's what this whole debate is about, right?
